Isn't it interesting, whenever there's a story with a helpful robot as part of the cast of characters, the robot always ends up going completely wacko psycho, because of an error intentionally or unintentionally introduced into the robot's programming by the human beings? Was that a run-on sentence, or what? But do you see what I mean? I see this as a variation of the Sorcerer's Apprentice. Should we have more faith in our creations? Or should we have more faith in ourselves? Or, like in the fable, should we be cautious with advanced technology that we neither have the wisdom, nor the ethical clarity, to be using?
