Cartoon - Orgastic Lines

Todd said that he was talking to a book agent, and when he asked her what she thought of Opium Magazine, she said it was a big literary circle jerk. Actually, to be fair, she said, "Your literary magazine world is one big circle jerk." Well said, you jaded, worldly, agent of books! Just like Politics, Mass-Marketing, Prime-Time Television, and long sections of Western Civilization. Cartoons auf CM Evans

Cartoon - French Import

I always kinda liked Citroëns -- at the same time I know very little about them, other than the Citroën DS19 had this powerful hydraulic suspension allowing the user to raise and lower the whole vehicle depending on road conditions and the kind of ride they wanted. When I worked in SJ, in the parking garage at my work, someone had a DS19 -- but it didn't look like it was in running condition. I think an executive was storing it there. CM Evans Cartoons

Link Added - Liquor Log

I try to add cartoon links to stay on topic, but here is a blog I have been enjoying reading, Liquor Log -- all about booze (duh!) -- I have been posting boozy cartoons lately, so I guess I'm not too far off the beaten path. Have a great weekend. I'm sorry, no, have a lousy weekend. Get drunk, fall asleep in a cemetery, and wake up covered in dew. CM Evans Links Section

Cartoon - Beer Baseball

My friend, Erik, ran a newsletter called "Buffalo Chips" for his group of drinking buddies who were loosely affiliated with the name "Buffalos". The Buffalos, in turn, participated in the local bar baseball league. For the newsletter I'd supply Erik with cartoons. I'd show up, he'd hand me a pen and papers, and I would do 10 - 20 cartoons, usually drawing while lying on the floor. This cartoon was one that ran in the "Chips" after a notorious win or loss on the ball field, between gimlets at the top of the eighth and a few chasers before the ninth.CM Evans Cartoons
